How it works

Printers ask for images at 300 pixels per inch at final size. Line art and text rendered as images look best at 600–1200 ppi. Upscaling a small image does not add detail.

Frequently asked questions

What size image do I need for a 6 x 9 in full-bleed cover?
The front cover with bleed is 6.125 x 9.25 in, so at least 1838 x 2775 pixels at 300 ppi.
