Portable Document Format. For print, PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 is the industry standard; for ebooks, PDFs don't reflow and read poorly on phones.
Tips
- For print interiors embed all fonts and flatten transparency if your printer asks for PDF/X-1a.
