Anime and manga awards ceremony. Established 2006 in France.
About Japan Expo Awards
The Japan Expo Awards are an award ceremony created in 2006 for the Japan Expo convention. They reward the best productions in the worlds of manga and anime, awarded by a jury of professionals and separate public prizes. Previously, they also rewarded the best productions in the worlds of Asian films, video games and J-Music, based on the average of the votes of a jury of professionals and the public. After a stop of the awards in 2013, the Japan Expo Awards are back in 2016 with a new formula.

Eligibility and entering
Check the official rules of the Japan Expo Awards for the current eligibility window, accepted formats, residency or language requirements and any entry fee. For most established prizes the publisher submits on the author's behalf, often with a limit on entries per imprint.
If you are self-published, look for an explicit statement that independently published books are accepted, and budget for entry fees and copies for judges.
