About Anvil Award
The Anvil Award (Norwegian: Amboltprisen) is a Norwegian literary prize conferred by the association Friends of Olav H. Hauge (Venelaget Olav H. Hauge). The prize consists of NOK 10,000 and an artistically crafted "anvil" created by the sculptor Leif Gjerme. The Anvil Award is conferred upon the person that has done the most to promote awareness of Hauge's poetry.

Eligibility and entering
Check the official rules of the Anvil Award for the current eligibility window, accepted formats, residency or language requirements and any entry fee. For most established prizes the publisher submits on the author's behalf, often with a limit on entries per imprint.
If you are self-published, look for an explicit statement that independently published books are accepted, and budget for entry fees and copies for judges.
